The goal of the ITIL^® Version 3 Capability & Maturity Assessment is to review and evaluate the operational effectiveness of the IT infrastructure service management processes by focusing on scope of service, availability, efficiency, and compliance as defined by ISO/IEC 20000.

Actionable recommendations will offer the organization a framework to develop a long term IT service management program that will integrate all portions of the IT service management processes to align IT and business goals. Recommendations are based in part on generally accepted international standards and best practices such as ISO/IEC 20000, IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL^® ), CobiT, ISO 9000, ISO/IEC 27001 and other best practice frameworks.

Timeline

The ITIL^® Version 3 Capability & Maturity Assessment for a single location has an effort of thirty one (31) person days and will take place over a four week period. Each of the stages will have some overlap with other stages. Most of the effort takes place off-site. The on-site portion is a very short period. The final report will be delivered no later than 10 days after the last interview.
